This policy explains how BMF Accounting Solutions (“BMF”, “we”) handles information collected through this website. It does not cover the separate client portal, which has its own terms.

When you use the contact form or the consultation form, we collect the details you enter:

• your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number;
• the subject and message, or the consultation topic, preferred times and notes you provide.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card details, tax documents or other sensitive financial information through the website forms. If documents are needed, we will tell you how to share them securely.

How we use it

We use this information only to respond to you, to arrange and prepare for a consultation, and to provide the services you ask about. We do not sell your information.

Service providers

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by email. When online scheduling is enabled, consultation bookings are processed by our scheduling provider, which receives your name, email address, chosen time and notes in order to create the appointment and send confirmations.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP addresses and request details in server logs, which are used for security and to keep the site running. We use your IP address to limit repeated form submissions and prevent abuse.

The website remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. It does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Keeping information secure

The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, which is one more reason not to send sensitive financial information through web forms.
